Jip & Janneke Make-Up!

Hi everybody!

Today I went shopping with my sister.

At the end we went to the HEMA, that’s a Dutch store with clothes, make-up, things for in your house, school supplies, almost everything.

When we looked at the make-up I spotted the next item!

Jip & Janneke make-up!

If you’re from the Netherlands Jip & Janneke is a phenomenon!

Everybody grew up with the books of Jip & Janneke.

For those of you who don’t know it, Jip and Janneke are neighbors and they have all these adventures together. Also the images in the books are amazingly simple.

So when I spotted the make-up I had to have something!

So I bought the ‘Siep bronzer’ (Siep was their cat).

The bronzer was only €4,50 so kind of cheap.

But it’s good, not amazing but proper good!

It doesn’t make you orange, so that’s also good about this bronzer.

Here is a picture of a swatch on my finger, the back of my hand was to dark for a good swatch.

It’s a nice packaging, sort of MAC, with the big black container.

There is only one colour, number 01 terra bronzing powder, and it has just a tiny bit of glitter in it, so perfect.

In the collection were also some eye shadows, nail polishes and a big fluffy pink brush!

Unfortunately the pink fluffy brush was sold out, but I really want that one.

So I’m looking for that, and next week I’m going to buy some lipglosses of Clarins and maybe some new mascara’s.

Asos package!

Hello guys,

About two days ago my Asos package arrived!

I was so happy because I ordered some really nice nail polishes.

First of the nails polishes is from Models Own.

The bristle isn’t the best I think, it’s really messy..

But the colour is lovely, it’s a nice peachy colour.

It’s in the colour 015 Fuzzy Peach.

The consistency is tough really good! You just need one layer and it lasts for a long time!

The next two polishes are from Asos Paints by Ciaté.

I know they’re not really new, but I couldn’t order them at Asos earlier.

They didn’t send polishes outside the UK.

But all of a sudden they did!

So I ordered immediately 2 Asos Paints!

First colour is Sienna.

It’s a nice ‘dirty’ purple, it’s almost a grayish purple. Asos says it’s a mink colour.

The consistency of this polish is not really good, you need to have two layers of polish for a nice look.

But the colour is absolutely amazing, I really love it.

Here is Sienna on my toe nails.

Next colour I like even more! It’s Chloe from Asos Paints.

It’s a beige kind of colour. It’s very nice for my finger nails, because it’s not so flashy.

On the site Asos says it’s an oyster colour, and that’s pretty nice.

Also this polish needs two layers to have a good result.

At this picture you can see Chloe on my finger nails.

Then last thing I got were these gorgeous bow earrings.

I was looking for bow earrings for quite a while, but I couldn’t find them!

So when I was looking at Asos I spotted them!

The best thing is that they’re in two colours, gold and silver!

They were only 6 pounds, so that’s about €7,50 for 2 pairs, that’s not expensive.

That was all I got this time at Asos, I think I’m going to order some other things soon when the new beauty collection is there.

H&M fall collection

Hi everyone!

This week I got my H&M package with my fall clothes!

I ordered it in may, because I was a vip, so I could place my delivery in a preview.

So here are my clothes.

First are 2 simple tank tops, nice to put under a vest or to wear it on jeans.

I got it in 2 colours, one is beige powder and one anthracite.

Then I got also a nice top with ¾ sleeves, also in beige powder.

Also a nice basic, with jeans or under a vest.

That were the basic tops, I always like them from H&M because you can combine them with so much!

Next thing I got was a really cute pajama, at the picture it’s just the top, but there’s also a pants.

The pants is black and tapered at the bottom.

It’s a really nice fabric, and I can’t wait to wear it in the winter.

Then I got some jewels, some simple earrings. I always lose the little earrings, so I ordered a lot.

And a nice long necklace, with some charms.

Just simple jewels to finish an outfit.

My favourite thing is a really cute poncho!

It’s way too big, because it’s an one size fits all. And I’m just a little girl, but with a belt or something I can wear it.

I got this package when I got home from work, it was still early so my sister and I went to Primark again.

My sis needed so return something, and I needed some hairclips. I wasn’t really planning to buy anything else, but then I came across the cutest sweater.

It’s a ¾ sweater in dark blue, and on the front there’s a print.

I didn’t really knew what the print was, but apparently it’s something military. I just like it!

So that was a lot I got that day!

Lip balms!

Hi guys,

Today it’s about lip balms!

I’m a absolute lip balm-junky! My lips get real quickly dry, so I always have lip balm with me where ever I go. Because my lips are very sensitive I can’t use a lot of lipglosses.

I’m going to show you my favourite lip balms, some are glossy and some are mat.

The first two I’m going to show you are Carmex lip balms.

I never knew of Carmex until I came across it on Asos.

First I got the pot. I really like the smell of this product. And when you put it on it just gives you a little tingling feeling. That’s because one of the ingredients is menthol. It doesn’t have a super glossy finish, it looks hydrated.

Then I got the Carmex tube. This one has a much more glossier finish then the pot. You can see the swatch at the picture.

It’s easier to apply with the tube, because you don’t have to put your finger in the pot, so it’s also more hygienic .

Next lip balm is Smith’s Minted Rose, from the rosebud collection.

I really like this one, because it gives you a nice glossy finish and it tingles on your lips because of the mint. It’s in a nice big pot, 0.8oz/23grams.

So you can use it for quite a while! I want to get the eucalyptus rosebud also to try, so I’m going to order that next time at Asos. And I read recently that there’s also a rosebud tube! So that’s also something I’m going to try.

Next thing is from Spain. If you are going to Spain soon you have to go to just any pharmacy, you can recognize them with their big green crosses. Just go in a pharmacy and look what they got!

I came to this lip balm by accident, I was in Barcelona and I forgot my lip balm, so I went in and got the first one I saw. And it’s amazing! It’s from Sensilis and it’s their Hydraction Protective Lipstick, it’s hypoallergenic so there are no nasty perfumes or other surplus ingredients in it. It’s a rather creamy lip balm, and if you put on to much your lips get white! So just a little bit is enough.

So if you ever go to Spain buy this! (The Sensilis brand has also other nice products! Like Suncare and nice make-up, also hypoallergenic.)

Anatomicals Stop Cracking Up Lip Balm is my next favourite. This is more a gloss, but it has a balm function. I don’t know how that is possible but it is very very nice. This one is in a tube again, and is very glossy. It’s nice hydrating, but I usually put it over another lip balm for the finish.

This lip balm is my current favourite of all of these. It is the Christian Dior Crème de Rose. It is sooo nice, it really hydrates your lips and gives them a bit more volume! Also this balm has a SPF10 in it! As you can see I used this almost up. One downside to this balm is the price. It’s about 20 of 25 euro for a 7,2grams/0.25 oz pot. So that is rather expensive. But you get something for your money on the other side. Also the look of the pot is super cute.

Then the last of my list, these are my all time favourites! I always have these lying around somewhere, and whatever is going on with my lips, these two will fix it!

I’m off course talking about the Blistex Med Plus! I really like the menthol in it, and you feel it working with the tingles in your lips. I think to pot and the stick are both really good and I don’t see a big difference between them. The stick is better to bring if you’re going somewhere, and the pot is better for at home.

So these were all my favourite lip balms, off course I’ve got more, like the old school Vaseline and Purol. But I use the balms above more and on a daily basis.

New beauty products

Hi everyone!

How are you today?

This morning I went out for a little shopping spree.

I went to the local Ici Paris XL, that is a perfumery with high-end brands as Chanel and YSL, but also brands as Clinique, Bourjois en L'oréal.

Today i went to pick up a foundation of Clinique which i absolutely love!

It's the anti-blemish foundation. My skin is not the best, not horrible either, but i have some blemishes.. This foundation is amazing with covering and it stays on for hours!

It's not heavy or cakey and it sinks in perfectly. When i put it on in the morning it is still on in the evening.

My colour is number 3, fresh neutral (MF).

It is not super covering so you need a concealer for the heavy blemishes.

I'm not really sure the anti-blemish function of this foundation is really working, but i love all the other aspects of this foundation.

Second thing i got was from H2O+.

It's the Oasis24 hydrating booster, it's a serum you use under your normal day or night creme.

I just used it at night, and when i woke up my skin was super soft and looked real healthy.

As you can see at the picture it constists of 2 different products. The top part looks oil, but it isn't oil, the whole product is oil-free, so that is real good for people with oily skin.

You have to shake well before using, because else you have just 1 of the products and nog both of them.

As a gift i got the Clinique rinse-off foaming cleanser. For taking off your make-up and cleanse your face. And after that you can do the 3-step programm.

Well that was all i got, they didn't had really nice make-up, so i hope i get that next week!

Shopping Haul

Hi everybody!

Today i went to the Primark with my sister.
Here in the Netherlands we only have 1 in the whole country, and it's in Rotterdam, i'm lucky that it is nearby my house!
We went really early at 9 o'clock in the morning because else it's too crowded!
I didn't purchased really much..


First of all a good case for my sunglasses, i'm really chaotic, so all my sunglasses always go broke in my bag because there at the bottom or something or i sit on it!
So the case was a must-have.



This is the case, it's black with a sort of snake skin outside. The glasses are from H&M from madrid.











The next thing i got was a nice little bag to put in some make-up, it's so cute, pink with black bow's on it.










The best thing i got today was a really nice fake leather bag! You can see it on the background of the other pictures. It's a nice mid-brown, not to dark and not to light, and it feels just like real leather!

I really like the detail on the front, the lock that you have to twist.
I also like the bag because it has 2 short handles, and one long handle.

I purchased some socks en a shirt for my father and some flat shoes, but they're just a bit dirty so i don't have a picture.

What i futher noticed at the primark was that they had a lot of cute t-shirts!
With really cute prints.
My sister bought almost all of them, so that is why i didn't get them.

Well this is my first haul, i'm going to try to post every week 2 or 3 posts also with beauty product's.
